NASA is aggressively turning its army of Twitter followers into advocates for the agency through a series of VIP tours known as tweetups, where a select group of NASA fans get a behind-the-scenes look at its centers with astronauts, researchers and administrators. In exchange, many participants narrate their day to their followers through a series of tweets, photographs and videos.
